I used to imagine it would be like the pardise pictures in the publications .The strange thing is when I was in the troof whenever I went in the park I used to get a panicky feeling which was unpleasent. It don't bother me now anymore since I gave up believing all that nonsense.

What did you imagine life would be like in the New System?
by JH ini believed that we would all be young and healthy again, and there would be no more wars, but i didn't expect much change cause products have to be made and people have to work to make whatever they consume.
.
i imagined that we would be constantly watched incase we make the slightest error.. although living in paradise, it would be a constant combat, not against enemy forces but against our own desires and imperfection.. .

"there are those who wonder about the allegations made against russel and rutherford.
we do not know them, so isn't that gossip?

Just remembered .I once bought a gas mantle type camping lamp for use in a tent and before I went camping with it I tried lighting it in the kitchen .Unfortunately I had a bit of difficulty getting it to light at first , as I put the 15th match to it and bent my head forward to look at it a twelve foot flame shot up in the air and parted my hair: That's why I have a head like a runway, plenty on each side but not much in the middle.
It's worked well ever since and is really cosy under canvas.

You know when we were kids we liked to have a gang and I don't mean a street gang I mean secret seven type club.Well when some people grow up they still like to run a gang but for adults .Well Crisis of Conscience tells you about the adult gang and how they behave as well as lots of other interesting pieces of info on the JW cult .I think the book gives a brilliant insight into the machinations of the barmy army.I wish I had that book forty years ago.

Just remembered; Twelve months ago we went to Blackburn Cathedral and it was packed out with parishoners from all over Lancashire, as the singing hit the roof I looked up and every light fitting had energy efficient light bulbs in them ,there must have been a couple of hundred maybe more and I thought ,I bet they haven't got these in the kingdom hall.

I can't remember but I know the light kept changing.I got used to a certain light and then they changed it.I should have gone to spec savers.
I believe the buzz word is energy efficiency as apposed to high energy.If they use the latest light source they should not need any new light for the next few years.
How about strip lighting?
